Formed in Brooklyn, NY, the grouping originally comprised frontman Carley Coma, guitarists Chris Puma and Eric Matthews, bassist Mike MacIvor, and drummer Ken Schalk, debuting in 1995 with the album Surreal Madness. The band subsequently included guitarist John Lamacchia, and Puma was farther replaced by guitarist John "Bop" Malonti in time for the review, 1997's Beyond Reasonable Doubt; the third Candiria record album, March of Self-Development, appeared iI age by and by.
